Scope and Content
Works in this series are literary arts publications created by students at the College, including works, booklets, and magazines, both serial (such as Folio and Sine Cera) and non-serial.
Sine Cera was launched in 2003 by the Community Writing Center. In its first introduction, the "DiverseCity Writing Series" is described as a writing group program that began in the community organization space. The title is from a Latin term for "without wax" and is thought to be the root words for sincere.
Folio was started in 1999 in part as a teaching tool for English composition classes. It celebrates creative expression by highlighting the diverse and continuing choices writers make when encountering readings and other perspectives.
