This series contains a published history of Ogden City compiled by the Utah Historical Records Survey of the federal Works Progress Administration under the sponsorship of the Utah State Historical Society and the Ogden City Commission. The Commission was responsible for publishing the 77-page book in 1940. The history describes some pre-history about the Ogden area, as well as the history of trappers, explorers, early European settlers. The book discusses the development of many aspects of the city up until 1940.
