This series is a miscellany of correspondence to Governor Thomas and his personal staff. The correspondence is from federal officials, governors, the public and friends and family regarding those activities that the governor handled directly. It also contains one letter from 1915 and one letter from 1918, long after he served as governor.

Scope and Content

This series is a miscellany of correspondence to Territorial Governor Arthur Lloyd Thomas and his personal staff. The correspondence was received from federal officials, governors, and the general public as well as from friends and family regarding activities and duties of the governor. Also included are letters from 1915 and 1918, more than two decades after his tenure as territorial governor.

1874-1918; includes some personal records dating outside the period he was governor.

The series contains a few scattered letters to Governor Thomas including two letters from 1915 and 1918. Wendy Checketts processed this series in May 2001
