The Research Center
Utah State Archives Research
The outcome of any serious research can only be to make two questions grow where only one grew before.
—Thorstein Veblen (1857 - 1929)
The Utah State Archives preserves and provides access to records of enduring historical value from state and local government agencies. Research services are provided in cooperation with Utah State History in a joint Research Center. The full time staff there is eager to assist in finding information both from local and state historic government records and within the collections of Utah State History.
