These records document the bounties paid by the Commission for the promotion of the silk industry.

Scope and Content

These records document the bounties paid by the Commission for the promotion of the silk industry. This series consist of yearly financial reports to the Secretary of State for the years 1897 and 1900, warrant requisitions from 1900, and an audit report dated 1904 which assesses the finances and the record-keeping of the Commission from 1896 to 1903. The 1900 financial report to the Secretary of State also includes receipts for reimbursements generated by the Commission.
