Summary of Records

This series is a "Lot Report" of burials in the cemetery dated 13 Nov. 2002. It is arranged alphabetically by the name of the deceased person, but also includes an Indian burial lot under the name "Do Not Sell" and numerous burials under "Unknown". A map of the cemetery is found at the beginning of the record. The report is 660 pages long and may include a variety of information on a particular burial, including name of deceased, birth date, names of parents, death date and place, burial date, cause of death, name of spouse, marriage date, veteran information, lot owner information, and purchase/perpetual care information. The earliest death date listed is for "Dephine Hamblin" in 1847, which is too early for a burial in the cemetery, since Santa Clara wasn't settled until 1855. A number of known burials date from the 1850's and some unidentified burials could be from that early period as well.
