Scope and Content
To commemorate the Utah statehood centennial, the Division of State History published a series of articles with highlights from Utah's history in The History Blazer: News of Utah's Past. During 1995, twenty were released each month while 1996 saw fifteen each month. A variety of topics and people were featured from across the nearly one hundred and fifty years of both the territory and state's history.

Centennial products from the Utah Statehood Centennial Commission, Series 19200, contains more items produced for the centennial.
An incomplete set maintained by the Deseret News was obtained by the Archives in December 2010. A more complete set was moved from Series 19200, Utah Statehood Centennial Commission Centennial products, in March 2011.

Gaps in Series
Numerous individuals articles are missing from the Deseret News set, along with all of January thru October 1995 and January and February 1996. A second set maintained by partner Utah Statehood Centennial Commission appears to be much more complete.
