Scope and Content
Mining records, which constitute a legal record, are kept for the purpose of monitoring and registering mining claims and operations. This series contains deeds which provide the name of the claim, grantors, grantees, location, legal description, date of transfer, and the mining district.
Chronological by date filed
This series contains records prior to the creation of Duchesne County in 1915. Records were copied from the Wasatch County Recorder for mining claims that are now located in Duchesne County.

Mining proof of labor records from Duchesne County (Utah). County Recorder, Series 22195, contains proofs of labor for the same mining claims.
