Abstract
On August 9, 1963, the Utah School Study Committee was appointed by the Governor. It was directed to undertake a study of the public school system in the state of Utah and was charged with the responsibility of determining what kind of basic educational program the citizens of the state should desire and whether, in the Committee's judgment, such a program can be properly financed without detriment to the state.
