Kearns Metro Township (Utah)

Located in western Salt Lake County, Kearns started out as a campground for the Army in 1942. After the war, in 1946, the land was given to the state and it became a residential area. In 2002, Kearns was granted township status, and in 2017 it was incorporated as a Metro Township.
