Provo High School (PHS), which is part of the Provo School District, offers a wide range of academic, vocational, technical, family science, and fine arts courses, including nationally ranked dance teams, and a noted basketball program. It has an average of 1900 students. The school shares reciprocal partnerships with Brigham Young University and Utah Valley University (UVU), which benefits all three institutions' academic programs. College concurrent enrollment credit is offered from UVU for numerous courses taught at PHS. A UVU Distance Learning Lab is located on campus in which many students take university courses right on the Provo High campus. The student body of Provo High School is reflective of the community with approximately 41.7% ethnicity, as of 2021.
