Utah State Tax Commission. Taxpayer Services Division

The Division was created in 2000 with staff and duties assumed from the former Collections and Customer Service divisions. It maintains front-line contact with the public, Provides direct customer service to individuals and businesses, Collects delinquent taxes and encourages compliance, Administers waiver of penalty/interest and offerin-compromise programs, and Offers tax education classes and state tax workshops to businesses and other state agencies.
