Abstract
The division was established with financial aid under the Federal Social Security Act on August 1, 1936. The division was created within the Utah State Board of Health to promote an understanding of public health problems, to correlate these activities of the several divisions, to cooperate with other public agencies in making known the latest scientific advances in preventing disease, and to promote better individual health.
