Abstract
Cottonwood Heights is located in eastern Salt Lake County, Utah. Originally known as Butlerville, the city was settled by a few families in the 1850s. The area provided lumber for the growing Salt Lake City valley. It also provided granite stone for the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Cottonwood Heights was incorporated in 2005.
