Abstract
Daggett County was formed in 1918 in the northeastern corner of Utah, bordering Wyoming and Colorado. Named after Ellsworth Daggett, who helped develop irrigation for the county, the area is known for the east-west running Uinta mountains as well as Flaming Gorge. The county seat is Manilla.
