Logan School District (Utah)

Logan was the first city in Utah to consolidate its schools. In 1872 Logan combined the five ward schools which had come into existence into one city wide school district. The Public School Law of 1890 required and made permanent this step which Logan had taken 18 years earlier. The mission of the Logan City School District is to provide educational programs and other learning opportunities which will assist children, youth, and adults to become mature, self-sufficient citizens.
