Sandy (Utah). Mayor

Sandy City has a Council-Mayor form of government with seven elected council members and a full-time mayor. The City employs a chief administrative officer to oversee the day-to-day operations of the city. The mayor appoints the chief administrator with the advice and consent of the city council. The mayor's office is directly responsible for the Dept. of Economic Development, and the Sandy Justice Court as well as overseeing the chief administrator.
