Summary of Records
Scope and Content
This series contains several volumes in which the court clerk summarized the daily proceedings of the court. All entries in these minute books relate to probate, which includes the distribution of the estates of deceased persons, guardianships for minors and incompetent adults, and adoptions. The first book in the series was begun by the county probate court and the state district court continued using the book for probate matters after the probate court was abolished in 1896.
