Summary of Records
Scope and Content
This series contains descriptions of each state board and commission including information on the purpose and membership of each board and commission, as well as a list of the appointees to each board and commission and the dates upon which they were appointed. These materials originally constituted a handbook or "appointment log" of information regarding each board or commission, for use by Governor Rampton and his staff. The membership list of each board or commission began during Governor Clyde's second administration, circa 1961. The appointment log was updated accordingly during Governor Rampton's administrations as new members were appointed.

Alphabetical by board or commission name.
This series is arranged alphabetically by title of board or commission, with the exception of the last two items in the third folder of Box 1. As those materials originally constituted a handbook or "appointment log", records within have been kept in the order in which they were found.
