Nora Beebe is a senior at the University of North Texas, majoring in Event Design & Experience Management. After earning her bachelor’s degree, she plans to pursue a career in the tourism field through an internship in group sales and events in Medora, North Dakota. With a personal passion for preserving the past and making it accessible to all, Nora is thrilled to join the Utah State Archives this semester as the Crowdsourcing Project Management intern!

Noah Wakeland graduated from Utah Valley University in the fall of 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in English, emphasizing literary studies. Since the spring of 2024, he has been pursuing a master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Arizona. Passionate about history and the stories that have shaped his home state of Utah, Noah is excited to join the Local Government team for his internship.

Matthew Hamm is a history student at the University of Utah, set to graduate this spring! He enjoys spending time outdoors—snowboarding in the winter, hiking in the spring and fall, or relaxing by a pool in the summer. He also loves all things history—whether it’s a documentary about Roman aqueducts or an old book used to store collected data, he’s there. Matthew is excited to intern with the Local Government team as he aspires to work with archives in the future.

Michaela Mulkey is a senior at the University of Utah, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in history and anthropology. After graduation, she plans to pursue a master’s degree in library and information science. Michaela is excited to gain hands-on experience with archival processes and to assist the public by providing requested documents as part of the Reference team.
