This series contains documents filed with the Secretary of State / Lieutenant Governor relating to the legal incorporation of cities and towns in the state. The records may include petitions for incorporation, articles of incorporation and amended articles of incorporation, annexation documentation, disconnection petitions, records of change of class, and maps showing municipal plats and boundaries.
