Scope and Content
This series contains resolutions adopted by the town of Cornish. Resolutions are formal statements of a decision or expression of opinion put before or adopted by the council. The resolutions in this series address topics like the establishment of utilities rates; garbage collection; municipal services; city positions; policies, guidelines, and regulations of the use and operation of municipal property; management of the city's finances; applications for grant funds; the schedule of council meetings; the implementation of federal laws; community development plans; housing; and more. Resolutions are numbered by the year and the order in which they were adopted. The records in this series contain the text of the resolutions, the dates discussed or adopted, the signature of the town clerk, the signature of the mayor, and the seal of the town.
