Summary of Records

This series contains pre-printed 4" x 6" cards used to track the identity and location of burials in the cemetery by individual name. The card files were likely started in the mid to late-twentieth century, using information from older sources to document earlier burials. Over time, cards were added to the file to document newer burials until 2005, when the card file system was superseded by a computer database. The cards include space to record such information as the name of the deceased, parents' names, birth date and place, death dates, cause of death, name of informant, location of grave, and name of mortician. The reverse side of the card shows a map of the burial lot with the location of the burial marked, along with names of others buried in the same lot. The series also includes a few inserted notes about information on the cards.
