It’s the final countdown! Only 5 days until Everybody Wins! Records Management Teamwork. This is a conference that your team does not want to miss! Come together, learn together, and [possibly] win together!
For the next 4 days we will highlight our all-star conference team players! Share the excitement with your team—the more the merrier! Registration is still open for in-person and online attendance, the event is free to attend. We look forward to seeing all of you on October 6th!
Establishing a Records Management Committee
Kami Ball graduated from USU with a degree in Accounting and from the University of Washington with a Master’s Degree in tax. She has spent most of her career in public accounting consulting with clients on federal tax issues. She is currently working in the finance & business department at UVU where she is in charge of accounting for the University’s capital assets. She also teaches accounting as an adjunct instructor at UVU. She and her husband have 3 boys and live in Pleasant Grove. Presentation time:Â 9:40 a.m. to 10:10 a.m.
UVU Email Retention Ideas
Brett McKeachnie managed UVU’s email systems for nearly two decades. He considers himself an email power-user, but learns new things about email every day. Thinking both inside and outside the box with email systems helps him to resolve business problems. Now he’s tackling email archiving for UVU employees. Presentation time: 10:10 a.m. to 10:25 a.m.
Using Google to Manage Electronic Messages
Corona Ngatuvia is the IT Manager over Desktop Services Engineering in the Department of Technology Services. His educational background is in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics. Presentation time: 10:25 a.m. to 10:40 a.m.
Registration
Attend in-person or participate online, the event is free! The conference will be held at the Miller Free Enterprise Center, 9750 S. 300 W. in Sandy, UT in an auditorium with stadium seating. Online participants will join using Adobe Connect, instructions will be sent out closer to the event.
