The USHRAB’s 2021 Grant Funding Round is Here!
Does your institution hold unprocessed archival papers, at-risk image collections in need of digitization, or other historical records needing preservation? The Utah State Historical Records Advisory Board (USHRAB) has funding opportunities!
The USHRAB has $26,000 available for non-profit and government (excluding Federal) institutions that care for documentary collections of historical and enduring value. Funding of up to $7,500 is accessible for projects designed to increase access to and preservation of historical records. Awards require at least a 1:1 cash and/or in-kind match and must contain a public access component. Funds are intended for short-term projects. Work cannot begin prior to July 15, 2021 and must be complete by June 26, 2022.
Funding is competitive and applications are required. This year we are very excited to announce that our application has moved online! Find instructions on how to create a user account and get started today at our website.
Review grant program information and eligibility requirements, budget guidelines, and more at our website. Please note that our publicity and access requirements are now more rigorous; we have provided a Publicity Guide to clarify expectations and to give guidance as you plan your project goals.
