USHRAB Grants Help Museums Organize Collections
The Hyrum City Museum completed a Utah State Historical Records Advisory Board grant project that allowed it to organize and properly house its collection in archival boxes. The Museum also purchased shelving and disaster mitigation supplies. Another outcome of the grant project was the standardization and creation of finding aids for the Museum’s collections. Red Cross of Northern Utah Collection Part of WWII Exhibit
The Utah State Historical Records Advisory Board (USHRAB) awarded a grant to Weber State University Special Collections to process and digitize the Red Cross of Northern Utah collection donated to them in 2016. The collection consists of handbooks, photographs, correspondence, office files, scrapbooks, and 16mm film. The collection also includes information on the canteen in Ogden during World War II

Board members come from a variety of institutions, including counties, municipalities, and universities. The Board meets 3 times a year: January, April, and September.
