Happy Retirement, Susan!
Last month we said goodbye to Susan Mumford after 16 years of public service at the Utah State Archives. After owning an art and custom frame business for 18 years, Susan attended Emporia State University where she earned her MLIS. She then joined the State Archives where she wore many hats including records analyst, processor, volunteer coordinator, secretary of the State Records Committee, and administration assistant.
Susan was also part of the ARMA Utah – Salt Lake Chapter, a non-profit dedicated to providing networking opportunities, continuing education, and resources for professionals in the records management field. At their recent social, Susan received an award for being a chapter member for 15 years.
Susan has always been a team player and a positive influence in our office. Although she will be missed, we are looking forward to seeing her creative outlets bloom in retirement!
