2023 Service Recognition Awards
The Utah State Archives and Records Service is lucky to have a dedicated staff—many of whom have been with us for years! This month we hosted a Service Recognition ceremony to congratulate those who achieved a milestone on their employment with the state in 2023. State Archivist and Division Director Ken Williams presented the awards along with special guest Marvin Dodge, who is the Executive Director of the Department of Government Operations. Congratulations to all!
Avalon Snell, our Lead Reformatting Technician, is celebrating 5 years of service with the state!
Renée Wilson, who works in the Records and Information Management section as a State Specialist, is celebrating 10 years of service with the state!
Although Alan Barnett, our Local Government Archivist, wasn’t able to attend the event, we are celebrating his 25 years of service with the state!
In addition to the Service Awards, Marvin and Ken were thrilled to present State Records Ombudsman Monica Minaya with an honor from Governor Cox!
