Meet the Summer 2024 Interns

Summer has arrived along with a new cohort of talented interns! They kicked off their internship with a tour of the Utah State Archives building, a chance to meet our staff, and time to dive into their projects with their specific advisors. Learn more about them, and the exciting projects they will be undertaking this summer, below:

Leisina Wolfgramm is a recent University of Utah graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Art History. Born and raised in Salt Lake City, she is passionate about preserving history for future generations and hopes to one day work in art/heritage collections management and conservation. Leisina will spend the summer with our Local Government team working on accessioning newly acquired historical records into the State Archives permanent collection.


Pollet Toscano is an MLIS graduate student at San Jose State University who looks forward to graduating in December. She has a BS in Elementary Education and has recently interned at the Lehi Historical Society and Archives. After graduate school, her long-term goal is to pursue a Ph.D. in library science or history. Pollet’s summer will be spent with our Local Government team working on accessioning newly acquired historical records into the State Archives permanent collection.


Jessi Murray is a junior at Weber State University in Interdisciplinary Studies, studying Art History, Botany and Women and Gender Studies. She earned an Associates in Mandarin Chinese from WSU, and has worked as an intern for the Department of Defense. She plans to pursue a career in museum studies and archiving. Jessi will spend the summer with the Reference & Access team learning how to locate records in our collection and working directly with patrons to answer requests.
