The Government Records Access Management Act (GRAMA) clearly defines what a record is and what a record is not in the state of Utah. This year a major overhaul of the law, which was passed and then repealed, put GRAMA in the news. A working group is currently reevaluating the law and will propose changes.

Dates and locations for 2011 records management and access training classes have been announced by the Utah State Archives and Records Service. Records Management is divided into morning and afternoon sessions on the same day.
